【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군은 23일 음성군 품바재생예술체험촌 다목적실에서 축제 전문가, 총감독, 축제 관계자 20여 명이 모인 가운데 ‘음성품바축제 글로벌 축제 추진’이라는 주제로 2025년 음성품바축제 토론회를 개최했다.
이날 행사에는 충청대학교 민양기 교수가 좌장으로, 노원중 축제 총감독, 배만규 국립경국대학교 교수, 최영석 충북연구원 문화산업연구부장, 오세빈 화천군 재단법인 나라 기획홍보팀장, 오제열 축제 총감독이 외부 전문가로 토론에 참여했다.
또한 강희진 음성예총 지회장과 이혜자 음성군 문화관광과 문화축제팀장이 토론자로 나섰다.
이날 토론회에서는 축제 전문가와 음성품바축제 실무자 소수의 필수 인원만 참여해 깊은 논쟁과 논의가 이뤄졌다.
참석자들은 음성품바축제의 글로벌 축제로의 발전 방안 모색에 대해 의견을 공감하며 축제가 글로벌 성장을 통한 미래 지속 가능한 축제로의 면모를 갖추기 위한 구체적이고 실무적인 실행 방안을 강구했다.
강희진 음성예총 지회장은 “이번 토론회가 음성품바축제의 글로벌 성장을 도모하며 현실적 실행 방안을 구체화하는 중요한 자리였다”며 “토론회를 통해 나온 외부 전문가들과 축제 관계자들이 허심탄회하게 나눈 의견을 수렴해 앞으로도 문화관광축제의 위상을 이어갈 수 있도록 최선의 노력을 하겠다”고 말했다.
한편 충청북도 유일 현행 문화관광축제인 음성품바축제는 2026년 6월 10일부터 14일까지 음성 설성공원 및 꽃동네 일원에서 개최된다. 올해에 32만여 명이 다녀갔으며, 221억여 원의 경제적 파급효과를 거둔 바 있다.

Meanwhile, the Eumseong Pumba Festival, the only current cultural tourism festival in North Chungcheong Province, will be held from June 10 to 14, 2026, at Eumseong Seolseong Park and the Kkotdongne area.
