[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 창녕군은 행정안전부가 주관한 ‘2025년 상반기 지방재정 신속집행 실적 평가’에서 최우수기관으로 선정되어 표창을 수상했다고 2일 밝혔다.
이번 표창은 상반기 신속집행 및 소비투자 목표를 모두 달성한 지자체에게 수여되는 것으로, 창녕군은 경상남도 18개 시군 중 유일하게 최우수기관으로 선정됐다.
군은 신속집행 목표액 2,158억 원 대비 2,285억 원을 집행해 105.9%의 집행률 달성했으며, 특히, 경제적 파급효과가 큰 소비·투자에서는 목표액 827억 원 대비 966억 원을 집행하며 집행률 116.8%를 달성했다.
상반기 신속한 예산집행을 통해 신속집행과 소비투자부문 집행 목표율을 모두 조기에 달성하고, 재정운용 효율성 확보와 지역경제 활력 제고에 크게 기여한 결과, 신속집행 인센티브 총 4억 2천만 원을 확보하는 쾌거를 이뤘다.
성낙인 군수는 “이번 수상은 전 직원이 신속집행을 위해 적극적으로 노력해 준 결과”라며 “올해도 전략적 예산집행 관리를 통해 민생경제 회복에 적극 기여하겠다”고 말했다.
이에 앞서 군은 2025년도 1분기 행정안전부 지방재정 집행 추진 평가에서도 우수기관으로 기관표창을 수상한 바 있다.

This award is given to local governments that achieved both expedited execution and consumption and investment targets in the first half of the year. Changnyeong County was the only one among the 18 cities and counties in Gyeongsangnam-do to be selected as the Best Execution Agency.
The county executed KRW 228.5 billion of its KRW 215.8 billion target for expedited execution, achieving a 105.9% execution rate. Notably, in consumption and investment, which have significant economic impacts, KRW 96.6 billion was executed against the KRW 82.7 billion target, achieving a 116.8% execution rate.
Through swift budget execution in the first half of the year, the county achieved both its rapid execution and consumption investment execution targets ahead of schedule. This significantly contributed to ensuring fiscal efficiency and revitalizing the local economy, leading to the impressive achievement of securing a total of 420 million won in rapid execution incentives.
Governor Seong Nak-in stated, "This award is a testament to the dedicated efforts of all employees to expedite execution. This year, we will continue to actively contribute to the revitalization of the local economy through strategic budget execution management."
Prior to this, the county received an award for excellence in the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's local finance execution evaluation for the first quarter of 2025.
