【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군이 군민 누구나 인공지능(AI)을 쉽고 친숙하게 활용할 수 있도록 하는 교육 프로젝트에 나선다.
군은 2026년부터 2030년까지 5년 동안 매년 2천여명, 총 1만명의 군민에게 AI 교육을 제공하는 ‘2030 AI 일만인재 프로젝트’를 추진한다고 7일 밝혔다.
이번 프로젝트는 국정과제 ‘AI 디지털시대 미래인재 양성’에 보조를 맞추기 위해 마련된 음성군의 대표적인 중장기 평생학습 사업이다.
군은 2030년까지 전체 군민의 10% 이상이 AI 기초 이해를 넘어 실제 생활과 업무에 활용할 수 있는 수준의 역량을 갖추도록 하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다.
이미 군은 금빛평생학습관, 설성평생학습관, 혁신도시 공유학습관 등 3곳의 평생학습관을 AI 교육 거점으로 구축해 놓았다.
교육과정은 연령과 수준에 따라 △AI 기초 △AI 활용 △AI 심화 과정을 단계별로 제공하며, 시간·장소 제약으로 학습관 방문이 어려운 군민을 위해 찾아가는 교육도 병행해 교육 사각지대를 해소할 방침이다.
프로그램은 연령별 맞춤형으로 진행한다. 아동·청소년에게는 코딩·챗봇 만들기 등 흥미 중심의 ‘AI 기초 탐구’ 과정을 열어 미래 진로 탐색을 돕고, 성인에게는 쇼핑·가계부·창업 아이템 발굴 등 실생활에 바로 쓸 수 있는 ‘생활 속 AI 활용’ 강좌가 제공된다.
노년층을 위해서는 스마트폰 활용, 키오스크 사용, 간단한 AI 서비스 이용법 등을 다루는 ‘AI 문해·디지털교실’을 운영해 디지털 소외를 줄이는 데 힘쓴다.
직장인에게는 데이터 분석, 문서·보고서 자동화 등 업무 효율을 높이는 ‘AI 직무능력 향상’ 과정을, 전 세대에게는 RISE 사업과 연계한 대학 수준의 심화 교육을 열어 지역 산업을 이끌 핵심 인재를 키운다.
연간 목표 교육인원은 총 2천여명이며, AI 교육에는 매년 약 2억 원이 투입된다. 군은 교육비 부담을 최소화해 누구나 쉽게 참여할 수 있도록 지원하고, 우수 수료자에게는 추가 심화과정 참여 기회도 제공할 예정이다.
장정자 평생학습과장은 “이제 AI를 모르면 일상생활은 물론 행정, 산업 현장에서도 불편을 느끼는 시대”라며 “아이부터 어르신, 직장인까지 누구도 뒤처지지 않도록 하는 것이 이번 프로젝트의 가장 큰 목표”라고 설명했다.

The annual target number of trainees is approximately 2,000, and approximately 200 million won will be invested annually in AI training.
