브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 한국타이어앤테크놀로지㈜는 지난 8일 충청남도 금산군청에서 한국타이어 오상현 금산공장장, 박범인 금산군수, 유병설 충남사회복지공동모금회 사무처장 등이 참석한 가운데, ‘희망2026 나눔캠페인’ 성금 전달식을 가졌다고 12일 밝혔다.
이날 한국타이어는 병오년 새해를 맞이하여 금산군 관내 복지 사각지대에 놓인 이웃들을 지원하고자 이웃 사랑 성금 1억6000만 원을 전달했다. 이번 성금은 관내 저소득 및 취약계층 가정, 사회복지시설 등에 전달되어 도움이 필요한 이웃을 위해 사용될 예정이다.
한국타이어 서의돈 안전생산기술본부장은 “나눔을 통해 이웃을 돕고 지역사회와 상생을 실천하는 것이 기업의 사회적 역할”이라며 “앞으로도 지역사회와의 긴밀한 소통을 바탕으로, 도움의 손길이 필요한 이웃을 발굴하고 지원함으로써 복지 사각지대 해소에 적극 기여할 방침이다”고 말했다.
한편, 한국타이어는 올해에도 지역사회 기관과 긴밀한 소통과 유기적인 협력을 기반으로 회사의 도움을 필요로 하는 지역사회 내 소외계층 발굴과 지원에 앞장서며 기업의 사회적 책임을 적극 이행한다는 계획이다.
