[브레이크뉴스=강동호 기자] 합천군은 농번기 만성적인 인력난을 해소하고 안정적인 인력 수급체계를 구축하기 위해 13일 농업기술센터에서 '우즈베키스탄 외국인계절근로자 송출 협력 간담회'를 개최했다.
이날 간담회는 지난해 우즈베키스탄 계절근로자 도입 업무협약의 후속 조치로 마련됐다.
이날 한호상 농업기술센터소장을 비롯해 Valijon Turdiev 우즈베키스탄 국무총리실 산하 대외노동청 한국주재사무소 부소장 및 양측의 실무관계자 등이 참석해 외국인계절근로자 도입 추진 현황을 공유하고, 향후 협력 방안에 대해 다양한 의견을 교환했다.
특히 우즈베키스탄 계절근로자 송출 절차 전반에 대한 상황과 근로자 선발 기준 및 체계적인 관리 방안, 출국 전 근로자 사전 교육 및 입국 후 관리 체계, 농가와 근로자 간 원활한 의사소통을 위한 현지 지원 방안 등 현장에서 필요로 하는 실질적인 사안들이 중점적으로 논의됐다.
아울러, 양측 관계자는 우수한 근로자의 안정적인 선발과 국내 정착을 돕기 위해 사전 교육을 강화하고, 근로자 보호와 현장 관리 체계를 체계적으로 마련하는 등 행정적 지원을 지속적으로 확대해 나가기로 했다.
