【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평문화원은 지역의 역사와 문화를 집대성한 성과물로‘증평문화’ 24집과 ‘증평학연구’ 3집을 발간하고, 증평의 위인과 문화유산을 주제로 한 노래를 제작했다고 밝혔다.
‘증평문화’ 24집은 한 해 동안 증평 전역에서 펼쳐진 문화적 발자취를 종합한 기록물로 다양한 분야의 글이 수록돼 증평의 삶과 정서를 다각도로 담아냈다.
‘증평학연구’ 3집은 ‘증평 민·관·군 상생 발전 방안’을 주제로, 지난 ‘1회 증평학 학술세미나’에서 발표된 연구 성과를 집대성한 학술서다.
특히 육군 제37보병사단 창설 70주년을 맞아, 증평과 군(軍)의 오랜 역사적 인연과 협력 관계를 학문적으로 조명하고, 지역 발전을 위한 민·관·군 상생의 방향을 제시했다는 점에서 의미를 더한다.
이와 함께 문화예술활동지원사업의 일환으로 제작된 노래는 증평의 인물(김득신, 배극렴, 신경행, 연병환·연병호·연미당)과 지역 문화유산(추성산성, 사곡리우물)을 주제로 삼았다.
옛 ‘서동요’처럼 노래가 지닌 친숙한 특성을 활용해, 듣고 부르는 과정 속에서 자연스럽게 증평의 역사와 문화를 접할 수 있도록 하는 데 목적을 뒀다.
완성된 노래는 지역 학교에 배포해 가정과 지역사회로 확산을 유도할 예정이다.
