김 팀장은 지난 1월 15일 대구지방고용노동청 5층 대회의실에서 열린 ‘2025년 고용노동행정 유공 표창 전수·수여식’에서 표창을 받았다.
김중호 팀장은 고용노동부 대학일자리플러스센터, 졸업생 특화 프로그램, 고교생 맞춤형 고용서비스 사업의 일환으로 운영된 ‘반도체 직무 아카데미’를 총괄하며 실무 중심 교육과 채용 연계를 결합한 차별화된 취업 지원 모델을 구축한 점에서 높은 평가를 받았다.
‘반도체 직무 아카데미’는 공정·장비·설계 등 분야별 실무 교육을 비롯해 기업 탐방, 취업박람회, 현직자 멘토링, 취업 연계 및 취업 후 사후관리까지 전 과정을 체계적으로 운영하는 종합 취업 프로그램이다.
대구대학교는 해당 프로그램을 통해 지난해 한 해 동안 반도체 분야 우수기업 11곳에 총 162명의 청년 취업을 연계하는 성과를 거뒀다. 특히 대구대 재학생뿐만 아니라 지역 내 5개 대학과 8개 특성화·마이스터고 학생까지 참여 대상을 확대해 지역 청년 고용 기반을 넓힌 점이 주목받았다.
김중호 팀장은 “국가 핵심 산업인 반도체 분야에서 청년들에게 실질적인 취업 기회를 제공하고, 현장 중심의 역량을 갖춘 인재로 성장할 수 있도록 지원한 점에서 큰 보람을 느낀다”며 “앞으로도 반도체를 비롯한 미래 산업 분야에서 지역 청년 취업의 허브 대학으로서 대구대학교의 역할을 지속적으로 강화해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
한편 대구대학교는 산업 수요 기반 맞춤형 취업 지원 프로그램을 지속적으로 확대하며, 지역과 연계한 청년 일자리 창출과 고용 경쟁력 강화에 주력하고 있다.

Team Leader Kim received the award at the "2025 Employment and Labor Administration Merit Award Ceremony" held in the 5th floor conference room of the Daegu Regional Employment and Labor Office on January 15th.
Team Leader Kim Jung-ho oversaw the "Semiconductor Job Academy," which was operated as part of the Ministry of Employment and Labor's University Job Plus Center, graduate-focused programs, and customized employment services for high school students. He was highly praised for establishing a differentiated employment support model that combines practical training with job placement.
The "Semiconductor Job Academy" is a comprehensive employment program that systematically operates the entire process, from practical training in fields such as process, equipment, and design to company visits, job fairs, mentoring from current employees, job placement, and post-employment follow-up services.
Through this program, Daegu University successfully connected 162 young people to 11 leading semiconductor companies last year. Particularly noteworthy was the expansion of participation beyond Daegu University students to include students from five local universities and eight specialized and Meister high schools, broadening the local youth employment base.
Team Leader Kim Jung-ho stated, "We feel deeply rewarded for providing young people with practical employment opportunities in the semiconductor industry, a key national industry, and supporting their development into professionals with field-oriented capabilities. We will continue to strengthen Daegu University's role as a hub for youth employment in the region, including semiconductors, in future industries."
Meanwhile, Daegu University continues to expand customized employment support programs based on industry demand and is focusing on creating youth jobs and enhancing employment competitiveness through regional collaborations.
