파주시의회(의장 박대성)가 시민들의 실질적인 삶의 질 향상을 위한 조례안 9건을 가결하며 민생 중심 입법 활동에 박차를 가하고 있다.
시의회는 지난 21일 제261회 임시회 자치행정위원회를 열고 의원 발의 조례안 9건을 원안 가결했다고 밝혔다.
이번 조례안들은 민생경제 회복과 사회 안전망 강화에 중점을 두고 각 분야 현장의 목소리를 수렴해 입법화한 것으로 평가받고 있다.

취약계층 지원 강화
이번에 가결된 조례안 중 눈에 띄는 것은 취약계층을 위한 실질적 지원책이다.
손성익 의원이 대표 발의한 '파주시 여성청소년 월경용품 지원 조례안'은 여성청소년의 월경용품 구입에 따른 경제적 부담을 완화하기 위해 구입비 또는 이용권을 지원하는 내용을 담고 있다.
이익선 의원이 대표 발의한 '파주시 재활용가능자원 수집 노인 및 장애인 지원 조례 일부개정조례안'은 재활용품 수집 노인과 장애인의 사고 발생 시 경제적 부담을 줄이기 위해 일상생활배상책임 보험료 지원 근거를 신설했다.
보건·의료 안전망 확충
보건·의료 분야에서도 다양한 지원책이 마련됐다.
목진혁 의원은 '파주시 영양관리 조례안'과 '파주시 건강도시 기본 조례안'을 대표 발의해 생애주기별 맞춤형 영양관리 강화와 건강한 도시 환경 조성을 위한 통합 관리 체계를 구축했다.
박신성 의원이 대표 발의한 '파주시 응급환자 이송 지원에 관한 조례안'은 응급환자가 관내 의료기관에서 관외 의료기관으로 이송될 경우 응급차량 이용 경비를 지원하는 내용을 담았다.
같은 의원이 발의한 '파주시 고독사 예방 및 사회적 고립가구 지원에 관한 조례 일부개정조례안'은 고독사 및 고독사 위험자에 대한 정의를 정비하고, 고독사 예방 기여자 포상 근거를 마련했다.
출산·육아 지원 및 소상공인 보호
이진아 의원은 3건의 조례안을 대표 발의하며 활발한 입법 활동을 펼쳤다. '파주시 도시형소공인 지원에 관한 조례안'은 관내 소공인의 성장과 발전을 위한 지원체계를 마련했고, '파주시 위기임신 및 보호출산 지원과 아동보호에 관한 조례안'은 위기임산부의 안전한 출산과 보호출산 아동의 양육환경 조성을 지원한다.
또한 '파주시 출산가정을 위한 백일해 예방접종 지원에 관한 조례안'을 통해 신생아를 백일해로부터 보호하기 위한 예방접종 지원 근거를 마련했다.
