【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=KH한국건강관리협회(회장 김인원·이하 건협)는 지난 1월 21일 불교방송(사장 서진영)과 BBS불교방송 방송포교 공덕주 만공회원 및 가족의 건강증진을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이번 협약식에는 건협 정준원 전략사업본부장과 하경윤 전략사업부장, 불교방송 서진영 사장과 박광열 미래전략기획실장 등 양 기관 주요 관계자들이 참석했다. 양 기관은 전국 17개 시·도지부에 구축된 건강검진 인프라와 의료 전문성을 바탕으로 회원 복지 향상과 체계적인 건강관리 강화를 위해 상호 협력하기로 했다.
업무협약에 따라 양 기관은 ▲종합건강검진 우대 혜택 및 치료 연계 서비스 ▲건강생활 실천 프로그램 지원 ▲만성질환 예방 및 관리 강화 ▲사회공헌활동 공동 추진 등 실질적인 협력 사업을 단계적으로 추진할 계획이다.
또한 불교방송은 TV·라디오·유튜브 등 다양한 미디어 채널을 통해 협약 내용을 적극 홍보하고, 사회공헌 활동과 공동 협력 사업을 통해 양 기관 간 유기적인 협력 관계를 확대해 나갈 방침이다. 아울러 향후 해외 불교 콘텐츠 교류 사업과 연계해 보건의료 분야에서의 협력 가능성에 대해서도 지속적으로 논의할 예정이다.
정준원 건협 전략사업본부장은 “이번 협약을 통해 만공회 회원과 가족들이 전국 어디서나 신뢰도 높은 건강검진 서비스를 편리하게 이용할 수 있도록 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
서진영 불교방송 사장은 “건강검진에 대한 부담을 느끼는 분들이 많은 상황에서, KH한국건강관리협회가 보유한 전국 단위의 우수한 검진 인프라와 의료 인력을 통해 만공회 회원과 가족들의 건강검진은 물론 건강한 생활습관 형성과 만성질환 예방에도 실질적인 도움이 되기를 기대한다”고 밝혔다.
한편 건협은 전국 17개 건강검진센터를 통해 국민건강보험공단 건강검진을 비롯해 개인별 건강 상태에 맞춘 맞춤형 종합검진, 예방접종 등 다양한 건강관리 서비스를 제공하고 있다.

Jeong Jun-won, Head of the Strategic Business Division at the KHA, stated, "Through this agreement, we will ensure that Mangonghoe members and their families can conveniently access reliable health screening services anywhere in the country."
Seo Jin-young, President of the BBS, stated, "With many people feeling burdened by health screenings, we hope that the KH Korea Health Management Association's excellent nationwide screening infrastructure and medical personnel will provide practical assistance to Mangonghoe members and their families, not only in accessing health screenings but also in developing healthy lifestyle habits and preventing chronic diseases."
Meanwhile, the BBS provides a variety of health management services through 17 health screening centers nationwide, including National Health Insurance Service health screenings, customized comprehensive screenings tailored to individual health conditions, and vaccinations.
