가평군은 지난 27일 군청에서 제6기 마을세무사 위촉식을 갖고, 오는 2026년부터 2년간 활동할 전문 세무사 2명에게 위촉장을 수여했다고 28일 밝혔다.
‘마을세무사’ 제도는 경제적인 이유 등으로 전문적인 세무 상담을 받기 어려운 취약계층과 영세사업자, 농어촌 주민들에게 재능기부 방식으로 무료 세무 상담을 제공하는 서비스다.
군에 따르면, 지난 2024년부터 2025년까지 운영된 제5기 마을세무사는 2년 동안 총 1,350여 건의 상담 실적을 기록했다. 이는 주민들이 실생활에서 겪는 양도소득세, 상속세 등 각종 세금 고민을 해결하는 데 실질적인 도움을 주며 지역 밀착형 행정 서비스로 자리 잡았다는 평가다.
이번에 위촉된 제6기 마을세무사는 이만희 세무사와 박용원 세무사로, 풍부한 실무 경험을 바탕으로 국세 및 지방세 관련 불복 청구(300만 원 미만) 상담 등을 지원할 예정이다.
