【브레이크뉴스 울릉】전종환 기자=울릉군은 28일 울릉군청 제1회의실에서 ‘제3차 울릉군 기후위기 적응대책 세부이행과제 설명회’를 개최했다.
이번 설명회는 2026년부터 2030년까지 추진되는 제3차 울릉군 기후위기 적응대책의 60개 세부이행과제를 공유하고, 지구온난화와 해수면 상승, 해양 산성화, 집중호우 등 기후위기 현상에 대응하기 위한 구체적인 실행 방안을 논의하기 위해 마련됐다.
이날 설명회에는 세부이행과제별 담당자들이 참석해 기후변화로 인한 해양·환경 영향과 지역사회 안전 확보 방안, 지속가능한 발전 전략, 주민 참여형 대응체계 구축 방안 등을 중심으로 논의를 진행했다.
울릉군은 ‘사람과 자연이 공존하는 기후안심도시, 울릉’을 비전으로 설정하고 ▲안정적 생활 인프라 관리 및 재난·재해 대비 체계 구축 ▲기후취약계층 보호와 기후환경 관리로 안전한 생활기반 조성 ▲산림·해양자원 및 생태계 보호를 통한 지속가능한 환경 보존 등 3대 추진 방향을 중점적으로 추진할 계획이다.
울릉군 관계자는 “기후위기는 현재 우리 삶에 직접적인 영향을 미치고 있다”며 “2026년부터 2030년까지 60개 세부이행과제를 충실히 이행해 안전하고 건강한 지역사회를 만들어 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
