대전과 충남의 경제 발전을 이끌 ‘충청권산업투자공사’ 설립이 현실화될 전망이다.
더불어민주당 장철민 의원이 주도한 ‘충청권산업투자공사 설립 및 운영에 관한 법률’이 당론으로 발의된 '충남대전통합특별시 설치 및 경제과학국방중심도시 조성을 위한 특별법안'에 포함되면서, 입법 추진에 청신호가 켜졌다.
법안 제91조에 따르면, 산업통상자원부 장관은 충청권 산업 육성 및 지속가능한 성장을 위해 자본금 3조 원 규모의 충청권산업투자공사를 설립한다.
