대전시의회, 제292회 임시회 마무리…27건 안건 처리 및 민생현안 점검

대전시의회가 2일 제292회 임시회 제3차 본회의를 열고 9일간의 일정을 모두 마무리했다. 이번 회기 동안 시의회는 총 27건의 안건을 처리하며 시정 전반과 교육 현안을 점검했다.

시의회는 회기 기간 동안 대전시와 대전시교육청으로부터 ‘2026년도 업무보고’를 청취했으며, 이와 함께 ‘대전광역시 긴급차량 출동환경 조성 및 관리 조례안’을 포함한 조례안 19건, ‘대전광역시아동보호전문기관 민간위탁(재위탁) 동의안’ 등 동의안 4건, ‘도시관리계획 결정(변경)안 의견청취의 건’ 등 의견청취 2건을 의결했다.

특히 민생경제특별위원회는 그간 소상공인 자립기반 강화와 지역경제 회복을 위한 현장 중심의 활동을 펼쳐 왔으며, 이번 본회의에서 활동결과를 보고하고 공식적으로 활동을 마무리했다.

조원휘 의장은 폐회사를 통해 “이번 회기에서는 시정과 교육행정의 주요 업무보고를 통해 시민의 삶과 직결된 현안을 종합적으로 점검했다”고 평가했다. 

이어 “‘신계룡–북천안 송전선로 건설사업’은 수도권 전력 수요를 위해 비수도권이 희생되는 대표적 사례로 지적되고 있다”며 “의회는 시민 안전과 분산형 에너지 정책 취지에 부합하는지 끝까지 살펴볼 것”이라고 밝혔다.

또한 조 의장은 “대전·충남 행정통합 논의가 본격화되는 시점에서 시민의 뜻이 충분히 반영되고, 통합이 실질적인 자치분권 강화와 균형발전으로 이어지도록 책임 있는 논의와 점검을 이어가겠다”고 말했다.

아울러 “의회가 제시한 정책 제안과 지적사항이 시민이 체감할 수 있는 개선으로 이어질 수 있도록 집행기관의 책임 있는 후속조치를 기대한다”며 임시회를 마무리했다.
