세종특별자치시교육청 학교지원본부가 신규 교육행정직 공무원들의 실무 역량을 강화하고 공직 사회에 안정적으로 안착할 수 있도록 돕는 맞춤형 연수 프로그램을 본격 가동한다.
학교지원본부는 5일부터 신규 공무원을 대상으로 ‘2026년 제1기 소소한 학교회계 배움’ 과정을 운영한다고 밝혔다. 이번 연수는 ‘작지만 즐거운 배움(小笑)’이자 ‘저경력 공무원의 앞날을 밝히는 배움(小昭)’이라는 중의적 의미를 담아, 낯선 학교회계 업무를 처음 접하는 새내기 공무원들의 두려움을 해소하기 위해 기획된 학교회계 업무 담당자 교육이다.
현장 피드백 반영해 교육 시간 확대… ‘기초부터 심화까지’ 촘촘한 커리큘럼
특히 올해는 지난 연수 참가자들이 전해온 “실무에 큰 도움이 되었다”는 현장 의견을 적극적으로 수렴했다. 이에 따라 더욱 내실 있는 교육을 제공하고자 전체 교육 시간을 기존 8시간에서 10시간으로 확대 편성했다.
연수 과정은 소규모 모둠 형태로 운영되며, 업무 단계에 맞춰 총 6개 과정으로 세분화하여 전문성을 높였다.
교육 내용은 학교회계의 기초를 다지는 ‘첫걸음(Ⅰ·Ⅱ)’과 ‘바로 알기’ ,복잡한 회계 절차를 다루는 ‘심화 과정’ ,물품 구매 및 일반 계약 실무를 배우는 ‘계약 초급’ 등으로 구성되어 신규 공무원들이 단계별로 업무를 익힐 수 있도록 설계됐다.
강사진은 세종시교육청 소속 공무원 중 학교회계 업무 능력이 탁월하고 현장 경험이 풍부한 실무 전문가들로 꾸려졌다. 이들은 단순한 지식 전달을 넘어 변화하는 업무 환경에 적응하는 법과 즐거운 직장 생활을 위한 팁 등 선배로서의 노하우를 아낌없이 공유하며 편안한 교육 분위기를 조성하는 데 주력하고 있다.
이번 연수에 참여한 한 신규 공무원은 “학교 현장에 배치된 후 회계 업무가 가장 막막하고 두려웠는데, 선배들의 강의를 통해 실무적인 해결책을 얻고 동료들과 고민을 나눌 수 있어 큰 자신감을 얻었다”며 높은 만족감을 나타냈다.
학교지원본부 이미자 본부장은 “이번 연수가 신규 공무원들이 업무에 대한 두려움을 떨치고 공직 생활의 전문가로 성장하는 든든한 밑거름이 되길 바란다”며, 앞으로도 현장 중심의 실무 교육을 지속적으로 지원하겠다는 뜻을 밝혔다.
