대전광역시교육청이 교육정책의 수립 단계부터 교육공동체의 다양한 의견을 수렴하고, 현장 중심의 교육 행정을 실현하기 위해 ‘2026년 대전교육공감원탁회의’ 토론 주제를 공모한다고 밝혔다.
지난 2018년 처음 도입된 ‘대전교육공감원탁회의’는 교육 주체들이 모여 현안에 대해 자율적이고 능동적으로 토론하는 대전교육청의 대표적인 소통 플랫폼이다.
지금까지 총 25회에 걸쳐 개최되었으며, 단순한 의견 수렴을 넘어 제안된 아이디어가 실제 정책으로 연결되는 가교 역할을 수행해 왔다.
특히 이 회의는 주제 제안부터 토론 과정까지 학생과 학부모, 교직원은 물론 일반 시민까지 대전 교육에 관심 있는 사람이라면 누구나 참여할 수 있다는 점에서 개방성과 민주성을 확보하고 있다.
이번 주제 공모는 2월 9일부터 19일까지 11일간 진행된다.
참여를 희망하는 시민은 대전광역시교육청 공식 누리집에 접속해 ‘참여·제안’ 메뉴 내 ‘대전교육공감원탁회의 주제제안’ 게시판에 개인별로 주제 제목과 제안 이유를 등록하면 된다.
접수된 제안들은 향후 원탁회의 운영기획단의 세밀한 협의와 심사를 거치게 되며, 최종 선정된 주제는 내년도 대전교육공감원탁회의의 핵심 의제로 채택되어 본격적인 정책 토론의 테이블에 오를 예정이다.
대전교육청은 이번 공모를 통해 교육 현장에서 느끼는 실질적인 어려움이나 미래 교육을 위한 창의적인 제안들이 대거 발굴될 것으로 기대하고 있다.
이미혜 혁신정책과장은 “이번 주제 공모는 교육가족의 정책 참여를 활성화하고 대전 교육에 대한 공감대를 높이는 중요한 계기가 될 것”이라며 “더 나은 대전 교육의 미래를 위해 시민 여러분의 많은 관심과 적극적인 참여를 부탁드린다”고 강조했다.
