인천시에 따르면, ‘1883개항살롱’은 인천이 개항한 1883년을 상징하는 개항장 문화 교류의 거점 공간으로, 2026년에는 레트로 감성 체험, 개항장 로컬 체험, 개항장 브랜딩 체험 중심으로 프로그램을 구성했다.
이러한 방향성을 토대로 2026년에는 개항장의 역사와 감성을 시민이 직접 체험할 수 있는 신규 체험형 프로그램을 선보인다.
