대전 중구가 19일 위생 업계와의 지속적인 협력 강화를 위해 ‘중구 위생단체 협의체’를 공식 출범하고 위촉식과 간담회를 개최했다.
이번 조직은 지역 내 위생 관련 영업자와 구청 간 소통의 창구 역할을 맡아, 현장 의견을 정책에 반영하고 지역 경제 활성화에도 힘쓸 예정이다.
협의체는 한국외식업중앙회 대전 중구지부, 대한미용사회 대전 중구지회 등 18개 단체 추천을 받아 선발한 20명의 위원으로 구성됐다.
이들은 앞으로 중구의 위생 수준 향상과 업계 발전을 위한 자문과 협력에 앞장서며, 주민 건강과 안전을 지키는 최일선 역할을 담당한다.
출범식 이후 진행된 간담회에서는 중구청의 주요 구정 업무 현황과 2026년부터 시행되는 위생 관련 제도 변화를 공유했다. 또 각 단체별 건의사항을 듣고 이를 발전적인 구정 운영에 반영할 방안에 대해 심도 있게 논의했다.
간담회 참가자는 “현장과 행정이 직접 만나 어려움과 의견을 나누는 자리가 마련돼 매우 뜻깊었다”라고 소감을 전했다.
김제선 중구청장은 “이번 협의체 활동이 실제 현장의 목소리를 구정에 반영하고, 구민과 함께 성장하는 소통의 장이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.
중구는 이번 위생단체 협의체 구성을 통해 민·관 협력의 기반을 마련함으로써, 지역사회 건강 증진과 경제 활성화라는 두 마리 토끼를 모두 잡겠다는 의지를 드러냈다.
