김철현 경기도의원, 4차산업혁명센터 ‘글로벌 실행 허브’ 도약 주문

경기도의회 미래과학협력위원회 소속 김철현 의원(국민의힘, 안양2)이 경기도 4차산업혁명센터의 2026년 운영 전략을 점검하며 ‘글로벌 실행 허브’로의 체질 전환을 주문했다.

김철현 의원은 지난 2월 13일 경기도의회 안양상담소에서 경기도경제과학진흥원 4차산업혁명센터로부터 2026년 운영 전반에 대한 업무보고를 받고, 주요 추진 전략과 실행계획을 집중적으로 점검했다.

김 의원은 2025년 4월 ‘경기도 4차산업혁명센터 설립 및 운영에 관한 조례’를 대표 발의해 센터의 제도적 기반을 마련했다. 해당 센터는 세계경제포럼과의 협력을 바탕으로 설립돼, 글로벌 아젠다를 지역 산업과 연계하는 플랫폼 역할을 수행하고 있다.

이에 대해 김 의원은 “센터가 단순한 국제 교류 창구에 머물러서는 안 된다”며 “포럼과 글로벌 행사가 투자 유치, 규제 개선, 기술 실증 등 가시적 성과로 이어지는 실행 구조를 설계하는 것이 핵심 과제”라고 강조했다.

아울러 AI·반도체·바이오·기후·GovTech 등 전략 산업 분야의 글로벌 인사이트를 현장 중심 정책과 연계하고, 세계경제포럼 협력 네트워크를 도내 스타트업 성장 사다리와 체계적으로 연결해야 한다고 주문했다. 김 의원은 “행사 실적이 아닌 산업 성과로 평가받는 구조로 전환해야 한다”며 성과관리 체계 고도화의 필요성을 강조했다.

김철현 의원은 “2026년은 센터의 역할과 정체성을 분명히 하는 전환점이 될 것”이라며 “경기도가 ‘다보스의 담론’을 ‘판교의 실행’으로 연결하는 글로벌 실행 거점으로 도약할 수 있도록 의회 차원의 정책적·제도적 지원을 이어가겠다”고 밝혔다.

Council Member Kim Cheol-hyun (People Power Party, Anyang 2), a member of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council's Future Science Cooperation Committee, reviewed the 2026 operational strategy of the Gyeonggi Province 4th Industrial Revolution Center and called for its transformation into a "global execution hub."

On February 13, at the Gyeonggi Provincial Council's Anyang Counseling Center, Council Member Kim received a business report on the overall 2026 operations of the 4th Industrial Revolution Center under the Gyeonggi Province Economic and Science Accelerator, and intensively reviewed key strategies and implementation plans.
