(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구가 주민참여형 산림자원 관리를 위해 ‘부평푸른숲 자원봉사단’을 연중 모집한다고 밝혔다.
부평구에 따르면, ‘부평푸른숲 자원봉사단’은 산림 보호와 관리에 관심 있는 주민이 숲 가꾸기 활동에 참여해 건강한 산림 환경을 조성하고, 민·관 협력체계를 구축해 산림보호 활동의 효율성을 높이기 위해 운영된다.
활동 지역은 지역 내 7개 산 중에서 선정된다.
참여자로 선발되면 3월부터 12월까지 ‘7산 7색 50만 송이 야생화 꽃길’ 조성 및 관리, 산림 정화 활동(쓰레기 수거), 산불 예방 홍보, 산림 내 불법행위 감시 등 다양한 활동을 수행하게 된다.
봉사활동 시간은 1일 2시간까지 인정되며, 활동에 필요한 청소용품과 식재·관리 도구 등도 지원할 예정이다.
참여를 희망하는 구민이나 단체는 부평구청 누리집 ‘부평소식’에서 신청서를 내려받아 작성한 뒤 전자우편으로 제출하거나, 공원녹지과를 방문해 신청하면 된다.

청소년수련관에 따르면, 먼저 생활공예·목공·도예·기계공작 등 4개 분야의 특화 프로그램을 운영하는 창의공작플라자에서는 매듭 컵받침(마크라메 티코스터) 만들기, 나무 미니 조명등 만들기, 도자기 휴대폰 거치대 만들기, 입체(3D)로 만드는 명함 제작 프로그램을 진행한다.
