대구TP는 이번 선정에 따라 2026년부터 2028년까지 3년간 총 30억 원 규모의 스포츠산업 창업지원사업을 운영하게 된다.
이번 성과는 지난 2023년부터 2025년까지 진행된 사업을 통해 안정적인 운영과 실질적인 창업 성과를 창출한 점이 높이 평가된 결과로, 대구TP는 스포츠산업 분야에서 검증된 창업지원 전문기관으로서의 위상을 다시 한 번 입증했다.
대구TP는 그동안 단계별 창업 보육 체계를 구축해 스포츠 창업기업의 사업화와 기술 고도화, 투자 연계까지 이어지는 성장 구조를 운영해 왔다. 특히 대규모 국비사업 수행 경험을 통해 축적한 운영 역량과 체계적인 성과 관리 시스템이 이번 공모 선정에 긍정적으로 작용한 것으로 분석된다.
대구TP는 오는 3월 창업기업 모집 공고를 통해 총 14개 스포츠 창업기업을 선발할 예정이며, 기업당 평균 5천만 원 규모의 사업화 자금과 전문 보육 프로그램을 지원한다. 이와 함께 사업모델 고도화, 시장 검증, 투자 연계, 기술 사업화 등 성장 단계별 맞춤형 지원 체계를 운영할 계획이다.
특히 이번 사업에서는 인공지능(AI)과 블록체인 기반 스포츠산업 창업 지원을 핵심 전략으로 강화한다. 대구TP가 보유한 디지털 인프라를 활용해 스포츠 데이터 분석, AI 기반 서비스 모델 설계, 블록체인 기술을 접목한 콘텐츠 및 비즈니스 구조 설계 등 융합형 창업 역량을 체계적으로 지원할 방침이다.
대구TP는 이를 통해 스포츠산업의 디지털 전환과 기술 기반 창업 생태계 조성을 선도하고, 지역을 넘어 전국 단위로 확산 가능한 스포츠산업 창업 모델을 구축한다는 전략이다.
강대익 대구TP AX산업본부장은 “2회 연속 사업에 선정된 것은 그간의 성과와 전문성을 인정받은 결과”라며 “AI와 블록체인 융합을 기반으로 스포츠산업 창업의 새로운 표준 모델을 만들어가겠다”고 말했다.
한편 대구TP는 앞으로 지역 대학과 연구기관, 투자기관과의 협력을 확대해 기술 기반 스포츠 창업기업의 지속적인 성장 기반을 강화해 나갈 계획이다.

This project will particularly strengthen the support for artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain-based sports industry startups as a key strategy.
