【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=귀농귀촌 1번지로 손꼽히는 단양군이 귀농귀촌에 관심 있는 도시민을 대상으로 오는 20일까지 ‘단양에서 살아보기’ 프로그램 참가자를 모집한다.
‘단양에서 살아보기’는 도시민이 일정 기간 농촌에 머물며 실제 농촌 생활을 경험하고 귀농귀촌을 준비할 수 있도록 지원하는 체험형 프로그램이다.
올해 프로그램은 오는 3월 30일부터 6월 26일까지 약 3개월간 운영되며, 참가자들은 농촌 마을에 머물며 영농실습, 지역민 교류, 관광·문화 탐방 등 다양한 활동을 체험하게 된다.
월 15일 이상 프로그램에 참여하면 주거시설이 무료로 제공되고 월 30만 원의 연수비도 지원된다.
참가자들이 생활하게 될 주거지는 두 곳이다.
적성면 흰여울농촌체험휴양마을과 샘양지농촌체험휴양마을로, 각각 농촌 체험과 자연환경을 동시에 경험할 수 있는 곳이다.

군 관계자는 “귀농귀촌을 꿈꾸는 도시민들이 단양의 자연과 농촌 생활을 직접 경험하며 새로운 삶을 구체적으로 설계하는 계기가 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 체험부터 정착까지 이어지는 지원을 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
