경기도의회 이채명 의원(더불어민주당, 안양6)이 지난 3월 9일 경기도의회 안양상담소에서 평촌 더샵 아이파크 입주자대표회의 손재철 회장과 정담회를 갖고 공동주택 생활 현안과 안양시 중장기 발전 방안에 대해 의견을 나눴다.
이날 정담회에서는 아파트 북카페를 작은 도서관으로 전환해 주민과 청소년이 함께 이용할 수 있도록 도서 구입비와 문화 프로그램 운영비 지원 방안이 논의됐다. 또한 노랑통닭 사거리 신호체계를 출퇴근 시간에는 정상 운영하고 그 외 시간에는 점멸 신호로 전환하는 탄력적 교통 신호 운영 방안도 건의됐다.
아울러 아파트 옥상을 활용한 미니 태양광 발전 설비 도입을 통해 에너지 자립과 관리비 절감 효과를 기대할 수 있는 만큼, 경기도 ‘에너지 자립마을 사업’과 연계한 지원 필요성도 제기됐다. 단지 인근 공용주차장 완공 이후 통행량 증가에 대비해 도로 조경 개선과 보행 안전 환경 정비 등 생활환경 개선 방안도 함께 논의됐다.
이와 함께 IT 기반 강소기업 유치와 인재 양성 프로그램 확대, 호계사거리 일대 교통 인프라 구축 필요성 등 안양시 중장기 발전 방향에 대한 의견도 오갔다. 특히 안양시청 이전 논의와 관련해 동안구 공동화 방지를 위한 대기업 본사 유치나 산업 클러스터 조성 등 구체적인 발전 전략이 필요하다는 의견이 제시됐다.
이채명 의원은 “공동주택 현장에서 나온 제안은 주민 생활과 직결된 중요한 정책 아이디어”라며 “현장의 목소리를 바탕으로 행정과 주민을 연결하고, 지역 발전에 도움이 되는 정책으로 이어질 수 있도록 지속적으로 소통하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Gyeonggi Provincial Council Member Lee Chae-myeong (Democratic Party of Korea, Anyang 6) held a discussion with Son Jae-cheol, Chairman of the Pyeongchon The Sharp I-Park Residents' Representative Council, at the Anyang Counseling Center on March 9th. They discussed current issues in apartment living and Anyang City's mid- to long-term development plans.
The discussion included proposals to support the purchase of books and the operation of cultural programs, allowing residents and youth to utilize apartment book cafes as small libraries. A flexible traffic signal system was also proposed, allowing the Norangtongdak intersection to operate normally during rush hours and switch to flashing signals at other times.
Furthermore, considering the potential benefits of installing mini solar power generation facilities on apartment rooftops, including energy independence and reduced maintenance costs, the need for support linked to Gyeonggi Province's "Energy Self-Reliant Village Project" was also raised. Plans to improve the living environment, including road landscaping and pedestrian safety, were also discussed to prepare for increased traffic following the completion of a public parking lot near the complex.

Regarding the Anyang City Hall relocation, the committee suggested a concrete development strategy, including attracting large corporate headquarters and establishing an industrial cluster to prevent the hollowing out of Dongan-gu.
Councilmember Lee Chae-myeong stated, "The proposals from the apartment complex community represent important policy ideas directly related to the lives of residents. We will continue to communicate with the community to connect the administration and residents based on these voices and develop policies that contribute to regional development."
