【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북 괴산군은 10일 서울 여의도 중기중앙회에서 송인헌 군수, 김석원 맑은물에홀딩스(주) 대표이사 등이 참석해 지역 경제 활성화 및 일자리 창출을 위한 식품종합클러스터 조성 투자협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
맑은물에홀딩스(주)는 전국 규모의 생산시설과 판매망을 갖춘 식품전문회사로 두부, 콩나물, 낫또 등 콩 관련 식품들을 온라인쇼핑몰과 홈쇼핑에서부터 대형마트와 편의점 등 오프라인 매장에 납품하고 있다.
이번 협약으로 맑은물에홀딩스(주)는 3천억 원을 투자해 전국 8개 생산 시설을 괴산군으로 이전한다.
부지 규모는 약 330,057㎡에 달하며 콩 식품을 전문으로 생산하는 ‘식품종합클러스터’를 구축해 500명의 신규 고용을 창출할 계획이다.
군은 클러스터 조성이 차질 없이 진행되도록 인허가 등 행정 절차를 지원할 계획이다.
또한 원활한 투자를 위해 관련 조례에 따른 세제 혜택 등 재정적 지원 방안도 검토할 방침이다.
김석원 대표이사는 “청정지역인 괴산에 콩 식품 종합클러스터를 구축해 지역 일자리 창출에 기여하게 돼 뜻깊다”라며 “‘맑은물에’를 콩 식품 대표 브랜드로 한 단계 더 성장시키겠다”고 말했다.
송인헌 군수는 “이번 투자협약은 지역 경제에 활력을 불어넣을 것으로 기대된다”며 “‘청정괴산’ 비전과 ‘맑은물에’ 브랜드가 시너지를 내도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.
