범정부 자살대책추진본부는 우리나라의 높은 자살률 문제에 범정부 차원으로 대응하기 위해 2025년 12월 24일 국무총리실에 설치된 범정부 협의체로, 보건복지부·교육부·고용노동부·경찰청 등 관계부처가 참여해 자살예방 정책을 총괄·조정하고 생애주기별 맞춤형 자살예방 대책을 추진하고 있다.
이번 사례 선정은 대상별 자살 위험요인에 맞는 정책 대응전략을 마련하기 위한 전국 우수 정책 사례 발굴 결과로, 충북의 ‘일하는 밥퍼’ 사업은 노인의 사회적 고립 해소와 삶의 활력 제고 측면에서 우수한 정책 사례로 평가받았다.
충북도의 ‘일하는 밥퍼’ 사업은 60세 이상 노인과 사회참여 취약계층을 대상으로 농가, 소상공인, 기업 등의 일손 부족 현장에 참여할 수 있는 활동 기회를 제공하는 사업이다.
