【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=제천시의회는 13일 김수완(사진) 의원이 발의한 「제천시 인공지능행정 구현에 관한 조례안」을 입법예고했다.
이번 조례안은 최근 인공지능 기술의 급속한 발전에 따라 공공행정 분야에서도 인공지능을 활용한 행정서비스 도입 필요성이 커지고 있는 가운데 인공지능 기술을 행정에 체계적으로 도입·활용하기 위한 제도적 기반을 마련하고자 추진됐다.
조례안에는 ▲인공지능행정 구현을 위한 기본원칙 ▲인공지능 기술의 도입 및 활용과 공무원의 교육훈련, ▲인공지능행정 구현 과정에서 개인정보 보호 및 윤리적 기준을 준수하는 내용이 포함됐다.
김수완 의원은 “인공지능 도입의 핵심은 효율성뿐만 아니라 시민의 신뢰와 안전을 확보하는 데 있다”며, “인공지능 기술이 행정의 사각지대를 해소하고 시민 중심의 맞춤형 서비스로 이어질 수 있도록 지속 가능한 관리 체계를 구축하는 데 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
이번 조례안은 3월 13일부터 4월 2일까지 시민 의견을 수렴한 뒤 제356회 제천시의회 임시회에서 심의될 예정이다.
