【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=단양군농촌활성화지원센터는 지난 9일과 12일 두 차례에 걸쳐 마을리더와 주민을 대상으로 ‘2026년 단양군 마을리더 역량강화교육’을 운영했다고 밝혔다.
이번 교육은 농촌지역개발사업에 대한 이해를 높이고 주민주도 마을만들기와 공동체 활성화를 이끌 역량 있는 마을리더를 양성하기 위해 마련됐다.
교육에는 마을 이장과 부녀회장, 새마을지도자, 주민 등 20여 명이 참여했다.
교육은 적성면 흰여울권역 다목적회관과 영춘면 유암1리 일대에서 진행됐으며, 농촌지역개발 정책 변화와 마을만들기 사업 이해, 마을자원 발굴 및 마을발전계획 수립, 리더십 스피치와 갈등관리 커뮤니케이션 등 마을 운영과 공동체 활동에 필요한 실무 중심 프로그램으로 구성됐다.
특히 마지막 교육 과정에서는 단양군 마을만들기 및 공동체 활성화 우수사례로 평가받는 영춘면 유암1리를 방문해 현장 견학을 실시하고 실제 마을 운영 사례와 경험을 공유하는 시간을 마련해 교육 참여자들의 이해도를 높였다.
금상수 단양군농촌활성화지원센터장은 “마을리더는 주민 참여를 이끌고 마을사업을 추진하는 핵심 인적자원”이라며 “이번 교육이 지역 공동체의 자율적 활동을 확대하고 주민주도 마을만들기 기반을 강화하는 계기가 되길 기대한다”고 말했다.
한편, 단양군농촌활성화지원센터는 앞으로도 마을리더와 주민을 대상으로 한 역량강화 교육과 공동체 활성화 프로그램을 지속적으로 운영해 주민 참여 기반의 지역공동체 활성화를 적극 지원할 계획이다.
