대전테크노파크가 지역 내 유망 중소·벤처기업의 성공적인 자본시장 진입을 돕기 위해 본격적인 상장 지원 사격에 나선다.
이를 위해 대전테크노파크(이하 대전TP)는 지역 기업의 체계적인 기업공개(IPO)와 스케일업을 지원하는 ‘제8기 IPO & Scale-up Program’ 참여 기업을 오는 4월 3일까지 모집한다고 밝혔다.
올해로 8회째를 맞는 이번 프로그램은 대전TP와 KAIST가 손을 잡고 운영하는 지역의 대표적인 상장 전문 과정이다.
2019년 시범 운영을 시작으로 전문성을 쌓아온 이 프로그램은 그동안 총 81개의 수료 기업을 배출했다. 특히 최근 상장에 성공한 액스비스를 비롯해 지금까지 총 9개 기업이 코스닥 등 자본시장에 안착하며 지역 기업들 사이에서는 ‘상장 등용문’으로 통하고 있다.
지원 대상은 대전에 본사를 둔 기업 중 3년 이내에 IPO 또는 M&A를 희망하거나, 대규모 투자 유치 및 글로벌 진출을 준비하는 기업이다. 대전TP는 신청 기업을 대상으로 서류 검토와 인터뷰를 거쳐 최종 20개 사를 선발할 계획이다.
최종 선정된 20개 기업은 4월 21일 오리엔테이션을 시작으로 11월까지 약 7개월간 총 16회에 걸친 집중 교육을 받는다. 프로그램은 단순 이론 교육을 넘어 상장 단계별 맞춤형 컨설팅 ,전문가 1:1 멘토링 ,상장 실무 자문 등 철저히 실전 중심으로 구성된다.
특히 올해는 이미 상장에 성공한 선배 기업과 이제 막 준비를 시작하는 후배 기수 간의 ‘휴먼 네트워크’ 기능을 대폭 강화한다. 상장 과정에서 겪는 현실적인 어려움과 성공 노하우를 직접 공유함으로써 지역 기업 간의 결속력을 높이고 성공 확률을 극대화한다는 전략이다.
김우연 대전TP 원장은 “수료 기업들의 잇따른 상장 성공은 프로그램의 전문성과 대전 기술 기업들의 우수한 저력이 결합된 결과”라며 “그동안 축적된 모든 노하우를 동원해 이번 8기 참여 기업들이 자본시장의 주역으로 성장할 수 있도록 전폭적인 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 강조했다.

Daejeon Technopark is launching a full-scale support initiative to help promising local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and venture companies successfully enter the capital market.

In particular, this year will significantly strengthen the "human network" function between senior companies that have already successfully listed and junior cohorts just beginning their preparations. The strategy is to enhance solidarity among local companies and maximize the probability of success by directly sharing realistic challenges encountered during the listing process and know-how for success.
