(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자)인천시교육청이 지난 19일, 도성훈 교육감이 인천청라중학교와 인천청람중학교 학부모총회에 참석해 교직원을 격려하고 학부모들과 소통하는 시간을 가졌다고 밝혔다.

인천시교육청에 따르면, 이번 방문은 새 학년을 맞아 학교 교육과정 운영을 공유하고, 학부모와 교육청이 함께 아이들의 성장 방향을 모색하기 위해 마련됐다.

도 교육감은 “학부모총회는 아이들의 성장을 위해 학교와 가정이 마음을 모으는 자리”라며 “교육은 학교만으로 완성되는 것이 아니라 가정과 학교가 같은 방향을 바라볼 때 더 큰 힘을 발휘한다”고 말했다.

이어 도 교육감은 “인공지능이 글을 쓰고 그림을 그리는 생성의 시대 속에서 중요한 것은 지식 전달이 아니라 스스로 질문하고 판단하는 힘”이라며 “AI가 빠르게 발전할수록 비판적 문해력과 최종 판단자로서의 역량을 갖추는 것이 무엇보다 중요하다”고 강조했다.
