[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 양산시민 누구나 이용할 수 있는 열린 복지 공간인 '양산 복지허브타운'이 4월 1일 개관식을 갖고 본격 운영에 들어간다.
복지허브타운은 2019년 개관한 육아종합지원센터와 함께 연면적 2만603.62㎡로 복지시설로는 전국 최대규모를 자랑하고 이웃해 있는 반다비체육센터를 포함하면 국내 최고의 복지타운이 완성된다.
지하 1층, 지상 5층의 대규모 복합 복지시설로 양산시복지재단, 양산시장애인복지관, 양산시노인복지관 분관, 양산시가족센터, 양산시여성복지센터, 공동육아나눔터, 양산시물금 마을건강센터가 입주해 있다.
또 1층 카페 공간에는 한국장애인개발원이 중증장애인에게 안정적이고 지속가능한 신규 일자리를 제공하기 위해 추진하고 있는 중증장애인 채용 카페 ‘아이갓에브리씽’ 양산2호점이 들어서 운영에 들어간다.
특히 시설 설계 단계부터 무장애(Barrier-Free) 환경을 적극 반영해 이동 약자를 배려했으며, 친환경 자재 사용과 에너지 절감 설비 도입으로 지속 가능한 공공시설 모델을 구현했다는 점도 눈길을 끈다.
