【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 북구청이 3월 31일 복현어울림센터에서 ‘북구 도시재생 마을돌봄 똑똑!’ 발대식을 개최하고, 주민 주도의 마을돌봄 사업을 대구에서 처음으로 본격 추진한다고 밝혔다.
이 사업은 보건복지부와 대구광역시가 추진하는 ‘2026 고독·고립 예방 및 관리 사업’과 연계해 진행되며, 도시재생 지역의 주민공동체가 직접 돌봄 활동에 나서는 것이 특징이다.
주민들은 가구를 방문해 안부를 확인하고, 반찬과 간식을 전달하며, 공동체 프로그램을 통해 정서적 지지도 제공할 예정이다.
복현1동에서는 노인 1인 가구를 대상으로 반찬 나눔과 안부 확인을 실시하고, 산격3동과 침산1동에서는 간식 배달과 커뮤니티 프로그램을 중심으로 운영된다.
배광식 북구청장은 “이웃이 서로를 살피고 돕는 작은 실천이 결국 지역의 든든한 안전망이 된다”며, “주민조직이 중심이 되는 따뜻한 돌봄 체계를 만들어가겠다”고 강조했다.
