보은군, '26년 학습증진사업 ‘보은 드림 클래스’ 운영

【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북 보은군은 교육발전특구사업과 연계해 도농 간 교육 격차를 해소하고 지역인재를 양성하기 위한 ‘2026년 보은군 학습증진사업(보은 드림 클래스)’을 본격 추진한다고 3일 밝혔다.

‘보은 드림 클래스’는 지역 학생들에게 양질의 교육 프로그램을 제공해 도시 유출을 방지하고 인구 소멸 위기에 대응하기 위해 2023년부터 추진 중인 학습지원 서비스다.

특히 사업비를 기존 2억 원에서 8억 원(군비)으로 확대하고, 지원 대상을 기존 초·중·고등학생과 학교 밖 청소년에서 24세 이하 일반 청소년(군내 학교 졸업자 포함)까지 넓히는 등 사업 규모를 확장해왔다.

주요 내용은 인터넷 수강권 지원, 1:1 온라인 멘토링, 입시 대비 진학 컨설팅과 취업 대비 진로 컨설팅, 전문 멘토와 함께하는 대학탐방 등으로 구성되며, 맞춤형 학습 지원을 통해 학생 개개인의 학업 역량 향상을 돕는 데 중점을 두고 있다.

참여 신청은 오는 3일(금) 17시부터 15일(수) 18시까지 구글폼을 통해 가능하며, 선착순으로 접수돼 조기 마감될 수 있다.

최재형 보은군수는 “보은 드림 클래스는 교육 기반이 상대적으로 부족한 지역 여건을 보완하고 학생들에게 균등한 교육 기회를 제공하기 위한 사업”이라며 “앞으로도 관내 학교 및 지역사회와 협력해 실효성 있는 교육 지원을 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
