【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 북구 서변숲도서관이 개관 1주년을 맞아 주민 참여형 프로그램으로 꾸민 기념행사를 성공적으로 마무리했다.
이용자들이 직접 참여해 ‘도서관의 생일’을 함께 완성했다는 점에서 의미를 더했다.
행복북구문화재단 서변숲도서관은 지난 3월 24일부터 4월 7일까지 ‘함께 걸어온 1년, 함께 나아갈 우리’를 주제로 개관 1주년 행사를 진행했다고 8일 밝혔다.
올해 행사는 전시와 참여 이벤트, 인형극, 스탬프 투어, 블라인드 도서 대출 등 총 6개 프로그램으로 운영돼 많은 주민들의 관심을 모았다.
특히 어린이자료실 중앙에 설치된 ‘축하 메시지 나무’와 이용자들이 직접 ‘초 스티커’를 붙여 완성한 대형 케이크 판넬이 주민 참여로 만들어져 상징적인 장면을 연출했다.
여기에 더해 블라인드 대출 프로그램인 ‘시크릿Book’과 가족 대상 어린이 인형극도 다양한 연령층의 호응을 얻으며 행사 분위기를 더욱 뜨겁게 달궜다.
서변숲도서관 관계자는 “개관 1주년을 맞아 지역주민들과 함께 지난 시간을 돌아보고 축하하는 뜻깊은 시간을 마련했다”며 “앞으로도 다양한 독서문화 프로그램을 통해 주민들의 문화 향유 기회를 넓혀갈 계획”이라고 말했다.

The Happy Buk-gu Cultural Foundation announced on the 8th that Seobyeon Forest Library held its first anniversary celebration from March 24 to April 7 under the theme "A Year We Walked Together, Us Moving Forward Together."
This year's event garnered significant interest from residents, featuring a total of six programs including exhibitions, participatory events, puppet shows, a stamp tour, and blind book lending.
In particular, the "Celebration Message Tree" installed in the center of the Children's Materials Room and the large cake panel, completed by users attaching "candle stickers" themselves, created symbolic scenes through resident participation.
Additionally, the "Secret Book" blind lending program and a children's puppet show for families received enthusiastic responses from various age groups, further heating up the atmosphere of the event. An official from Seobyeon Forest Library said, “To mark the first anniversary of the opening, we have prepared a meaningful time to look back on the past and celebrate with local residents,” adding, “We plan to continue expanding opportunities for residents to enjoy culture through various reading culture programs.”
