브레이크뉴스 박동제 기자= 마약 집행유예 기간 중 음주운전을 한 혐의로 재판에 넘겨진 그룹 위너 출신 남태현에게 실형이 선고됐다.
9일 서울서부지법 형사11단독(부장판사 양은상)은 도로교통법 위반 혐의로 기소된 남태현에게 징역 1년과 벌금 100만원을 선고했다.
재판부는 “피고인이 음주운전으로 벌금형 이상을 확정받고 10년 이내에 음주운전 했으며 마약류 관리에 관한 법률 위반으로 집행유예 기간임에도 범행을 저질러 비난 가능성이 크다”며 “도로·교통상의 위험이 높았던 점에서 엄중하게 처벌해야하는 점 등을 참작했다”고 밝혔다.
다만 증거인멸 및 도주 우려는 없다고 보고 남태현을 법정 구속하지는 않았다.
남태현은 지난해 4월 27일 서울 강변북로 일산 방향 동작대교 인근에서 술에 취한 상태로 운전한 혐의로 재판에 넘겨졌다. 당시 남태현은 제한 속도 시속 80km 구간에서 182km로 운전하다 중앙분리대를 들이받는 사고를 냈다. 다행히 인명 피해는 없었다.
앞서 남태현은 2024년 1월 마약류관리법 위반 혐의로 징역 1년에 집행유예 2년을 선고받은 바 있다.
또한 남태현은 2023년 3월, 마약 수사 중 서울 강남구 주택가에서 음주음전 사고를 내 벌금 600만원의 약식명령을 선고받았다.
