이번 키트는 대목장 건축가의 설계를 바탕으로 한수정의 ‘T’자형 평면 구조와 곡선미가 돋보이는 지붕 형태를 정교하게 구현한 것이 특징이다. 누구나 손쉽게 조립할 수 있도록 제작돼 전통 건축의 구조를 자연스럽게 이해할 수 있으며, 완성 후에는 인테리어 소품으로도 활용 가능한 수준의 완성도를 갖췄다.
생활관은 키트를 전시관 방문객에게 판매하는 한편, ‘전통 정자 만들기 원데이 클래스’도 함께 운영할 계획이다. 이를 통해 가족 단위 관람객과 역사·문화에 관심 있는 방문객들에게 체험형 콘텐츠를 제공한다는 구상이다.
권정미 체육시설사업소장은 “지역의 소중한 문화유산인 한수정을 보다 친숙하게 접할 수 있도록 이번 키트를 기획했다”며 “직접 정자를 만들어보는 경험을 통해 봉화 정자 문화의 가치를 느끼는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.
한편 한수정은 조선 중기 문신 권래가 봉화군 춘양면 의양리에 세운 정자로, 2019년 보물 제2048호로 지정된 대표적인 전통 건축 문화유산이다. 안동 권씨 후손들이 대대로 관리해 오고 있으며, ‘찬물처럼 맑고 깨끗한 선비의 정신’을 담은 이름과 함께 뛰어난 조형미로 평가받고 있다.

The Bonghwa Pavilion Culture & Lifestyle Center has unveiled a DIY assembly kit that three-dimensionally recreates Hansujeong, a representative national heritage site of the region.
Based on a design by a master carpenter-architect, this kit is characterized by its intricate reproduction of Hansujeong’s ‘T’-shaped floor plan and its roof form, which stands out for its curved beauty. Designed for easy assembly by anyone, it allows for a natural understanding of traditional architectural structures and boasts a level of finish that makes it suitable for use as an interior decoration item once completed.
The center plans to sell the kit to visitors of the exhibition hall while also operating a ‘One-Day Traditional Pavilion Building Class.’ The goal is to provide experiential content to families and visitors interested in history and culture.
Kwon Jeong-mi, Director of the Sports Facilities Business Office, stated, “We planned this kit to make Hansujeong, a precious cultural heritage of the region, more accessible,” adding, “We hope this experience of building a pavilion firsthand will serve as an opportunity to appreciate the value of Bonghwa’s pavilion culture.”
Meanwhile, Hansujeong is a pavilion built by Gwon Rae, a civil official of the mid-Joseon Dynasty, in Uiyang-ri, Chunyang-myeon, Bonghwa-gun, and is a representative traditional architectural cultural heritage designated as Treasure No. 2048 in 2019. It has been managed by descendants of the Andong Gwon clan for generations and is highly regarded for its outstanding aesthetic beauty, along with a name that embodies the "spirit of a scholar as clear and pure as cold water."
