[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 경기도의회 경제노동위원회 정하용 의원은 용인특례시 기흥구 동백도서관의 노후 냉난방 설비 교체 사업이 본격적으로 추진된다고 밝혔다.
이번 사업은 시민참여예산으로 제안되었으나 재정 여건으로 지연되어 왔으며 정하용 의원이 경기도 특별조정교부금 1억 5천만 원을 확보하면서 추진 기반이 마련됐다. 총사업비 2억 원 중 나머지 5천만 원은 용인특례시 2026년도 제1회 추가경정 예산안에 반영되어 최종 통과됨에 따라 사업 여건이 완비됐다.
사업을 통해 동백도서관 지상 3층의 노후 설비를 교체함으로써 열람실과 소모임실 등 주요 공간의 안전성과 쾌적성을 개선할 예정이다.
