민생당장 이수봉 비상대책위원장은 3일 “수험생 여러분, 응원합니다” 제목의 입장문을 발표했다. 이 입장문에서 “고3 수능생 여러분, 수능이 하루 앞으로 다가왔습니다. 그동안 수능 공부도 힘든데, 코로나가 겹쳐 얼마나 힘이 들었겠습니까? 대단합니다. 멋집니다. 여러분이 수능 결승전까지 온 데 대해 민생당 비대위 위원장으로서 응원의 박수를 보냅니다”면서 “수능 때만 되면 희한하게 날씨가 추워졌고, 주위가 꽁꽁 얼어 움직이질 못했습니다. 그런데, 이번 수능은 코로나바이러스가 모든 것을 움츠러들게 만드는 것 같습니다. 코로나바이러스가 독해도, 수능을 보는 여러분의 의지보다 독하겠습니까. 항상 조심하고 수능이 끝나는 시간까지 잘 대처해주시기 바랍니다”고 요망했다.
이어 “주변에서는 여러분에게 “오늘은 평소 하던 대로 최종 점검하고, 평소대로 먹고 자라”고 말씀하실 겁니다. 저도 같은 마음입니다. 실수하지 마시고 그동안 공부했던 실력을 최대한 발휘하시기 바랍니다. 정부와 학교는 수능생들, 코로나 자가격리나 확진된 수능생들 모두 안심하고 수능을 치를 수 있게 다시 한번 철저한 점검과 조치 부탁드립니다. 수험생 여러분에게 좋은 결과 있기를 진심으로 기원합니다“라고 덧붙였다.
