브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 바디프랜드(대표 박상현)가 사회복지공동모금회(사랑의 열매)에 코로나19 방역 최전선에서 힘쓰고 있는 선별진료소 근무자들에게 안마의자를 전달했다.
바디프랜드는 지난달 11일 사회복지공동모금회(사랑의열매)에 안마의자 271대를 기증했다고 25일 밝혔다. 15억원 상당의 이 안마의자는 사회복지공동모금회를 통해 서울 성동구보건소 등 전국 코로나19 선별진료소 271곳에 설치됐다.
안마의자 전용 러그 등 휴게공간 조성을 위한 소품 등도 함께 제공됐다. 안마의자로 꾸며진 휴게 공간은 선별진료소 의료진 등 관계자들이 자유롭게 이용하게 될 예정이다.
안마의자가 설치된 성동구보건소의 한 관계자는 “코로나19로 업무가 많아 의료진 등 관계자들이 녹초가 돼 버릴 정도로 체력소모가 심하다”며 “안마의자에 앉아 잠깐이나마 편안하게 휴식을 취하면서 체력도 회복할 수 있어 좋다”고 전했다.
이어 “더욱 힘내서 업무를 할 수 있을 것 같다”면서 “아낌없는 지원에 감사를 전한다. 이 같은 사회공헌 활동이 지속적으로 확대되었으면 좋겠다”고 말했다.
부산 영도병원 관계자도 "안마의자 설치 직후부터 신체적·정신적 피로가 다 풀리는 것 같다. 선별진료소 의료진의 컨디션 관리에 기여를 많이 할 것이다"고 밝혔다.
바디프랜드 관계자는 “사랑의열매에 기증한 안마의자가 코로나19 극복의 최전선에 있는 분들에게까지 전달되어 더욱 감사하고 의미있게 생각한다”며 “방역을 위해 헌신하시는 분들의 노고에 깊은 감사를 전한다”고 말했다. 그러면서 “앞으로도 지역사회에 도움이 될 사회공헌 활동을 꾸준히 이어나가겠다”고 덧붙였다.

Bodyfriend (CEO Park Sang-hyun) delivered massage chairs to workers at the screening clinic who are working hard at the forefront of COVID-19 quarantine to the Community Chest of Korea (Fruit of Love).
Bodyfriend announced on the 25th that it has donated 271 massage chairs to the Community Chest of Korea (Fruit of Love) on the 11th of last month. This massage chair worth 1.5 billion won was installed at 271 COVID-19 screening clinics nationwide, including Seongdong-gu Health Center in Seoul, through the Community Chest of Korea.
Props were also provided to create a rest area, including lugs exclusively for massage chairs. The rest area decorated with massage chairs will be freely used by officials such as medical staff at the screening clinic.
An official at Seongdong-gu Health Center, where massage chairs are installed, said, "It consumes so much energy that medical staff and other officials are exhausted due to COVID-19," adding, "It's good to sit on the massage chair and relax for a while."
"I think I will be able to work harder," he said adding, "Thank you for your generous support. I hope such social contribution activities will continue to expand, he said.
An official at Yeongdo Hospital in Busan also said, "It seems that all physical and mental fatigue is relieved immediately after the massage chair is installed. It will contribute a lot to the condition management of the medical staff at the screening clinic, he said.
An official from Bodyfriend said, "We are more grateful and meaningful that the massage chairs donated to the fruit of love have been delivered to those at the forefront of overcoming COVID-19," adding, "We deeply appreciate the efforts of those who devote themselves to quarantine." He added, "We will continue to carry out social contribution activities that will help the local community in the future."
