대구가톨릭대, 새마을운동중앙회와 업무협약 체결

대구가톨릭대(총장 우동기)가 새마을운동중앙회(회장 염홍철)와 업무협약을 체결했다.

1일 오후 2시 대구가톨릭대 본관에서 업무협약을 맺은 대구가톨릭대와 새마을운동중앙회는 국가 및 지역발전과 인재양성을 위한 업무협약을 맺고 적극적인 협력에 나선다고 밝혔다.

협약은 △지역 산업과 지역 혁신성장 연계 공동사업 개발 △탄소중립 실현을 위한 상호 협력 △대학 내 대학생 새마을운동 동아리 운영 및 관리 지원 △국내·외 새마을운동 봉사활동 관련 프로그램 대학생 참여 △교육·학술 관련 연구 및 행사의 지원·참여 등을 주요골자로 한다.

우동기 대구가톨릭대 총장은 “새마을운동은 우리 사회와 국토에 많은 변화를 가져온 개발운동이다. 잊힌 얘기 같지만, 오늘날에도 깃들어 있는 새마을 정신이 우리 학생들에게 전해지길 바란다”고 말했다.
