계명대(총장 신일희) GTEP 사업단 학생들이 ‘메가쇼 2021 시즌 2’에 참가해 매출 1천만원을 달성하는 성과를 냈다고 밝혔다.
국내 최대 소비재 박람회인 2021 메가쇼 시즌2는 지난달 18일부터 21일까지 경기도 고양시 일산 킨텍스에서 개최됐다.

계명대 GTEP 사업단 학생들은 이번 행사에 국내 전문 스타킹, 무봉제 이너웨어, 헬스케어제품 등의 제품을 제조하는 ㈜우수(대표 이돈관)와 함께 참가해 제품 홍보 및 현장 판매를 진행했다.
행사를 통해 계명대 GTEP 학생들은 전시회 4일간 무릎 보호대 품절을 비롯해 약 1,000만원의 매출을 달성하는 등 눈부신 활약을 보여주었다.
특히 학생들은 직접 제품을 착용하며 활동함으로써 홍보 활동을 진행하고, 샘플 테스트를 통해 상품의 장단점을 파악해 바이어를 이끌었으며 협력업체의 팜플렛을 이용해 상품과 홈페이지를 홍보하며 추후 재구매를 유도하여 OEM 및 위탁판매 등 다양한 바이어들의 계약 문의가 들어오는 성과를 이루기도 했다.
전시회에 참여한 정한영 학생(경영학전공, 4학년)은 “다양한 손님들과의 의사소통을 통해 손님들을 맞이하는 능력, 바이어와 상담능력 등 다양한 능력들을 이번 전시회를 통해 향상시킬 수 있었다.”며 “제품 착용 및 구매 후 재구매를 하는 바이어를 보며 보람을 느꼈다.”고 소감을 전했다.

Keimyung University GTEP students participated in this event together with Woosu Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Don-kwan), which manufactures domestic specialty stockings, seamless innerwear, and health care products, to promote and sell products on-site.
Through the event, Keimyung University GTEP students showed dazzling performances by selling out knee pads for 4 days of the exhibition and achieving sales of about 10 million won.
In particular, students carried out promotional activities by wearing products themselves, and led buyers by identifying the pros and cons of products through sample tests. It has also been successful in receiving contract inquiries from various buyers.
Student Jeong Jeong-young (Business major, 4th grader) who participated in the exhibition said, “Through this exhibition, I was able to improve various abilities such as the ability to greet customers and the ability to consult with buyers through communication with various customers.” It felt rewarding to see buyers who wear them and purchase them again.”
