대구대학교(총장 김상호) 진로취업처의 대학일자리센터가 국가별 해외 취업 특강 프로그램을 운영했다.
지난 22일부터 12월 3일까지 3주간 이어진 이 프로그램은 해외 취업을 희망하는 학생들을 대상으로 국가별 맞춤형 교육을 통해 취업 역량을 제고하고 해외 진출의 기회를 제공하기 위해 마련됐다.

이번 프로그램에서는 미국·베트남 특강이 지난 11월 22일부터 26일까지 진행되었고, 일본 특강은 지난 11월 29일부터 12월 3일까지 온라인 실시간 강의로 진행됐다.
특강에 참가한 학생들은 각국의 해외 취업 전문가로부터 그 나라의 경제, 문화, 노동 관련 강의를 듣는 등 해당 국가문화 및 취업시장에 대한 이해를 넓혔다.
이와 함께 참가자들은 기업별 이력서 작성 및 코칭, 모의 면접, 실전 지원하기 등의 교육으로 해외 취업 역량을 높였다.
우창현 대구대 진로취업처장은 “학생들의 해외 취업 역량을 미리 키워 코로나19 이후의 시기를 준비하고 있다”면서 “전 세계를 무대로 활약할 수 있는 글로벌 인재로 성장시키기 위해 최선의 노력을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
