대구대, 최기문 영천시장에 명예철학박사 학위 수여

대구대학교(총장 김상호)가 지난 22일 경산캠퍼스 성산홀 17층 스카이라운지에서 최기문 영천시장에게 명예철학박사 학위를 수여했다고 밝혔다.

최기문 시장은 대구도시철도 1호선 영천 연장사업, 영천경마공원 조성사업, 금호읍 신도시 조성, 일자리 증대 등 지역발전과 직결된 각종 숙원사업을 성공적으로 추진하고 코로나19 위기의 슬기로운 대응과 영천형 재난지원금 지급을 통한 소비심리 회복 노력 등 시민생활 개선과 지역발전을 위해 크게 기여한 공적으로 명예철학박사 학위를 받았다.
