이충재 시인(문학평론가)이 "제1회 남양주 다산문학상" 수상자로 선정되어 지난 12월 27일 오후 남양주아트센터에서 시상식을 가졌다. 수상작은 이충재 시인의 12번째 시집 "비는 비켜서는 법을 가르쳐준다."(삼사재출판사)이다.
이 문학상은 남양주 다산문학상 운영위원(위원장 이용호)와 (사)한국문인협회 남양주지부(지부장 한정희)이 공동으로 주최했다. 하철경 한국예총 명예회장·윤종일 서일대학교·한명희 수필가·한철수 시인·이선자 시인과 남양주 문인협회 회원 등 코로나 19로 인해 소수의 인원만이 참석, 진행됐다. 이 행사에 앞서 남농 허건 허생의 제자이자 한국예총 회장을 역임한 하철경 한국예총 명예회장이 <예술을 이야기 하다>위 강연이 있었고, 하 명예회장은 시상을 했다.
이용호 위원장은 인사말에서 “남양주를 대표하는 분은 다산 정약용 선생이다. 늦은 감은 있지만 다산이라는 이름으로 문학상을 제정하게 되어 기쁘다. 작게 시작했지만 큰 미래를 보고 나아가겠다. 다양한 계층의 사랑을 받는 이충재 시인이 첫 번째 수상자가 되어 보람을 느낀다.”고 피력했다.
수상자인 이충재 시인은 수상 소감에서 “다산의 도시에서 다산문학상 받으니 부끄럽다. 다산의 정신은 실사구시인데, 늘 시 창작 앞에서 좀 더 순수했어야 한다는 자기반성을 먼저 한다. 이 상을 저에게 줌은 분명 더 나은 시인의 사유를 바탕으로 진정성 있는 시인의 삶을 살아달라는 주문과도 같기에 감사합니다. 늘 초심을 잃지 않고 더욱 더 열심히 하겠다.” 라고 말했다
이충재 시인은 1994년 <문학과 의식> 시 부문으로 등단하였으며, 2016년 월간 시가 제정한 문학평론 대상을 수상하면서 문학 평론가로도 활동하고 있다. 2014년 한국 기독 시 문학상 수상에 이어 2019년 서울시인협회 올해의 시인상 등을 수상했다. 한국성서대학교에서 공부하고, 고려대학교 대학원에서 비교문학을 전공하고 시창작과 문학평론활동을 병행하고 있다.

Poet Lee Choong-jae (literary critic) was selected as the recipient of the "1st Namyangju Dasan Literary Award" and held an awards ceremony at the Namyangju Art Center on the afternoon of December 27th. The winning work is the 12th collection of poems by Lee Choong-jae, "Rain teaches you how to get out of the way." (Samsajae Publishing Company).
The Literary Award was co-hosted by Namyangju Dasan Literary Award Steering Committee member (Chairman Lee Yong-ho) and the Namyangju Branch of the Korean Writers Association (Chief Han Jeong-hee). Due to Corona 19, only a small number of people attended the event, including Ha Cheol-kyung, honorary president of the Korea Arts Council, Yoon Jong-il, Seoil University, Han Myeong-hee, essayist Han Cheol-su, poet Lee Seon-ja, and Namyangju Writers Association member. Prior to the event, Ha Cheol-kyung, honorary president of the Korea Arts Council, a disciple of male Nong Heo Geon Heo Saeng and who served as the president of the Korea Arts Council, gave a lecture on <Talking about Art>, and Honorary Chairman Ha gave an award.
Chairman Lee Yong-ho said in his greeting, “The representative of Namyangju is Dasan Jeong Yak-yong. I know it's late, but I'm glad to have established a literary award in the name of Dasan. I started small, but I will move forward with a big future. Poet Lee Choong-jae, who is loved by many peoples, feels rewarding to be the first recipient of the award.”
Poet Lee Choong-jae, who was awarded the award, said in his acceptance speech, “I am ashamed to receive the Dasan Literary Award in the City of Dasan. The spirit of fertility is live-action poetry, and he always reflects on himself that he should have been more pure in front of poetry creation. I am grateful that giving this award to me is like a spell to live the life of a sincere poet based on the thoughts of a better poet. I will always work harder without losing my original mind.” said
Poet Lee Choong-jae made his debut in the poetry section of <Literature and Ritual> in 1994, and is also working as a literary critic by winning the Grand Prize for Literature Criticism established by the Monthly Poetry in 2016. He received the Korean Christian Poetry Literature Award in 2014 and the Seoul Citizens Association Poet of the Year Award in 2019. He studied at the Korea Bible University, majored in comparative literature at the graduate school of Korea University, and is engaged in poetry writing and literary criticism.
