경북교육청(교육감 임종식)이 ‘2022 경북교육 주요업무계획’ 설명회를 개최했다.
29일 웅비관에서 열린 이번 설명회는 코로나19로 힘들어진 교육계 전반에 대한 회복과 미래 교육으로 도약하는 해로 만들기 위한 경북교육청의 다짐을 전하기 위해 마련되었다.

이를 통해 경북교육청은 2022 역점 추진사업으로 더 따뜻하게! 교육회복과 촘촘한 교육복지, 더 참신하게! 다양성과 지속가능한 미래교육, 더 친근하게! 자율과 안전을 보장하는 학교 현장 지원 등을 제시하며 위기 극복을 넘어 미래교육으로 도약하는 새로운 길을 만들어 갈 계획을 밝혔다.
이에 따라 교육회복 종합방안 추진, 학습격차 해소를 위한 3단계 학습 안전망 강화, 온라인 학습플랫폼 '온학교'와 '온중학교', '스스로! 학업성취인증제'를 확대 운영하고, 코로나19로 힘겨운 아이들이 행복을 제대로 누릴 수 있도록 행복교육을 추진한다. 특히 소중한 아이들의 마음을 보듬는 생명사랑센터도 운영한다.
2022년 신규 사업으로는 따뜻한 행복교육, 미래를 준비하는 맞춤형 경제교육 지원, 작은 미술관 사업, 기후위기·환경재난 대응 생태전환 교육, AI교육 및 메타버스 선도학교 운영 지원, 학교폭력 책임교사 전용 전화번호제 도입, 교육가족 및 도민이 참여하는 교육정책 토론회 등 교육환경 변화와 교육가족의 요구를 반영한 총 33개의 사업을 제안했다.
아울러 경북교육청 특색사업은 △경상북도교육청 사이버독도학교 운영 △미래를 준비하는 슬기로운 경제교육 △학습격차 해소를 위한 온라인 학습지원 플랫폼 ‘온학교’ 운영 등이다.
임종식 교육감은 "경북교육은 위기를 기회로 삼아 바람이 거셀수록 연이 높이 오르듯이 풍신연등(風迅鳶騰)의 자세로 미래교육으로 도약하는 해로 만들겠다”면서 “학생 한 명 한 명이 삶의 주인공이 되어 제각각의 빛깔을 지닌 꽃으로 피어날 수 있도록 미래 지향 맞춤형 교육을 강화하겠다”고 밝혔다.
