대구대학교(총장 김상호)가 대구지방식품의약품안전청(청장 홍헌우)과 식품·의약품 관련 상호협력을 위한 협약을 체결했다.
지난 28일 경산캠퍼스 성산홀 대회의실에서 진행된 협약식에는 김상호 총장, 홍헌우 청장, 대구지방식품의약품안전청(대구지방식약청) 관계자 및 대구대 식품공학과 교수 등 10여 명이 참석했다.

협약의 주요내용은 △식품·의약품 시험분석 분야의 기술협력, 학술정보 교류 및 자문 △식품·의약품의 시험분석 분야의 학술회의 공동개최 △대학생 현장교육 프로그램 제공 등으로 적극적인 상호협력을 약속했다.
홍헌우 대구지방식약청장은 “대구대와의 협약체결을 기쁘게 생각한다”면서 “식품·의약품 시험분석, 검사수행 등의 분야에서 양 기관이 발전할 수 있도록 적극적으로 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
김상호 총장은 “대구지방식약청과 본격적으로 협력을 시작할 수 있음에 감사하다”며 “대구대의 인적자원, 프로그램 등의 인프라를 활용해 사회공헌 분야에서도 양 기관이 함께 상생의 기회가 만들어지기를 바란다”고 말했다.
