계명대(총장 신일희)가 2022년 새해를 맞아 지역민들을 위한 ‘2022년 계명대학교 신년 음악회’를 개최한다.
계명대 음악대학 60주년을 맞아 오는 1월 6일 오후 7시 30분 계명아트센터에서 진행되는 음악회는 코로나의 장기화로 힘든 시기를 겪고 있는 지역민들을 위로하기 위해 마련되었다.

전 석 무료로 진행되는 이번 공연에서는 이동신 계명대 객원교수가 지휘를 맡아 계명오케스트라와 계명합창단과 함께 아름다운 선율을 선사한다.
아울러 세르게이 타라소프 교수의 피아노, 신상준 교수의 바이올린, 이지훈 강사의 트럼펫 연주와 바리톤 김승철 교수, 테너 하석배 교수, 소프라노 이화영 교수의 목소리로 공연의 감동을 더 할 예정이다.
특히, 계명대학교 오케스트라와 합창단은 ‘2018 예술의 전당 대학오케스트라축제’에서 비수도권 대학으로는 최초로 무대에 오르며 그 실력을 인정받아 이번 공연 격을 한층 더 높여주고 있다.
신일희 계명대 총장은 “어렵고 힘든 시기가 이어지고 있는 가운데, 지역민들에게 조금이나 힘이 되고자 이번 공연을 마련하게 됐다.”며, “이번 공연은 계명대 음악대학의 모든 역량을 쏟아부으며 준비한 수준 높은 공연인 동시에 클래식 음악을 보다 쉽고 재미있게 접할 수 있는 계기가 될 것이다. 공연을 통해 2022년에는 희망과 행복이 가득하길 바란다.”고 말했다.
