대구보건대학교(총장 남성희)가 교육부의 ‘2022년 국제협력 선도대학 육성지원사업’에 선정되었다.

대구보건대가 선정된 이번 사업은 교육부의 대표적인 공적개발 원조사업으로 이를 통해 대학은 2022년부터 2027년까지 5년간 총 17억 원을 지원받게 되었다고 밝혔다.
이번 사업은 국내 대학의 우수 자원과 학문적, 교육적 역량을 활용해 수원국가의 고등교육 발전을 지원하기 위해 마련된 것으로 올해 처음으로 대학에서 전문대학으로 확대 운영된다.
이에 따라 전국 2개 대학이 선정된 가운데 대구보건대학교는 대구경북 전문대학으로 유일하게 신규대학으로 선정됐다.
대구보건대학교는 인도네시아 자카르타 보건산업기술대학Ⅱ과‘인도네시아 치과기공전공 교육역량강화’사업을 진행한다.
구체적으로는 ▷현장 맞춤형 치과기공 인력 양성을 위한 교육과정 개발과 정보화 교육환경을 구축, ▷선도적 기술 전수를 위한 전공실습실 환경개선과 디지털 교육환경 구축, ▷치과기공 분야 산학협력과 산학협력 연계 교육모델 수립, ▷구강보건 관리자 교육과 구강보건 관련 봉사활동 등을 펼칠 예정이다.
이를 통해 한 . 인니 구강보건의료 교류 네트워크를 구축하고 디지털 치과기공 센터를 통한 산학협력 활성화와 인도네시아 치과기공 산업의 허브로 담당할 것으로 기대하고 있다.
