미래로가는바른역사협의회(대표 박정학, 이하 미사협)는 23일 오후 함안을 방문 중인 안민석 더불어민주당 의원을 만나 이재명 대통령 후보의 면담을 요청하는 공문을 전달했다.
공문은 미사협 대선후보초청역사토론특별위원회(위원장 이찬구) 이름으로 작성됐으며 가야사바로잡기경남연대의 이순일 상임대표가 대신 전달했다. 미사협은 윤석열 국민의힘 대통령후보측 공식 이메일을 통해서도 전달했다.
미사협은 이 공문에서 춘천 중도, 남원, 합천 등지의 현장에서 우리역사가 심하게 훼손되고 있다고 지적하며 이를 시정할 수 있는 방안을 강구하기 위해 후보의 면담을 요청한다고 적었다. 미사협은 이전에 역사토론회에 후보를 초청하는 공문도 보낸 바 있다.
미사협은 현재 춘천 중도에서 레고랜드 개장을 앞두고 있는 것과 관련, 레고랜드 건설로 인해 중도의 엄청난 역사유적지가 훼손당할 우려가 있다고 주장했다. 특히 문화재청과 강원도가 레고랜드 건설을 위해 불법과 탈법을 자행했다고 했다.
미사협은 먼저 문화재의 원형보존점수는 74.31점 이상인데, 중도유적은 최고 15점이 초과한 91.77점인데도 교묘하게 보존하지 않고 공사를 감행했다는 점과 의암호 만수위가 71.5m인데, 수자원의 자료인 72m를 사실확인도 하지 않고 50cm차이로 고인돌이 물에 잠긴다는 핑계로 무더기로 이전시켜 중도의 문화재를 훼손했다고 지적했다.
또 강원도는 문화재청의 복토(覆土)지침을 어겼을 뿐만 아니라, 또한 민간 개발공사에게 팔았던 부지를 몇 배로 비싸게 다시 사기 위해 컨벤션 센터 사업비 499억원을 무리하게 승인했다고 주장했다.
이에 대해 시민단체들은 오는 5월 5일 레고랜드가 개장하기 전에 공사과정에서 일어난 비리와 불법과 탈법에 대한 수사부터 먼저 받으라고 요구하고 있다.
또 올 6월로 예정된 가야고분군 유네스코 세계문화유산 등재의 심각성도 지적하고 있다. 문화재청이 작성한 세계문화유산 등재 신청서에 남원을 ‘기문’, 합천을 ‘다라’로 표기한 것이 발각됐다는 이유에서다.
기문과 다라는 일본서기의 지명으로, 이 지명을 병기할 경우 과거 왜가 가야지방을 점령했다는 임나일본부설을 뒷받침해주는 결과를 자초한다고 했다. 시민단체들은 이 두 개 지명을 삭제하지 않는 한 유네스코 등재를 반대할 것을 선언하고 있다.
