브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 조원진 우리공화당 대통령 후보는 7일 "사전투표를 하신 박근혜 전 대통령께서는 희망의 대한민국을 위해, 국민행복 대한민국을 위해 투표하셨을 것"이라며 "박 전 대통령이 그토록 바라셨던 국민행복, 국민통합 대통령이 되겠다"고 밝혔다.
조원진 후보는 이날 오전 9시 경기도 고양시 마두역 앞 유세에서 "박 전 대통령이 하루빨리 건강을 회복하셔서 힘들어하시는 국민의 손을 꼭 잡아주시길 기원한다"며 이같이 말했다.
조원진 후보는 "박 전 대통령은 글로벌 금융위기 여파로 경제가 침체에 빠져있을 때, 한국 경제에 활력을 찾고 희망의 새 시대를 열기 위해 역대 어느 정부보다 많은 개혁과 성과를 이뤄냈다"며 "조원진이 대통령이 되면, 우크라이나 전쟁, 물가 인상, 유가 급등 등 불안한 대내외적 경제상황을 극복하고 강력한 경제개혁을 이끄는 경제 대통령이 되겠다"고 강조했다.
