대전교육청이 저소득층 학생 교육비로 총 209억 원을 지원하기로 했다. 이는 지난해보다 14억이 증액된 금액이다.
21일 대전교육청에 따르면 교육급여대상 학생에게 지원하는 교육활동지원비(학용품 및 부교재 구입 등)는 전년 대비 평균 21% 이상 단가를 인상해 초등학생은 331,000원,중학생은 466,000원, 고등학생은 554,000원을 지급한다.
연 60만원까지 지원하는 방과후학교 자유수강권은 지원 대상을 중위소득 64%이하에서 80%이하 저소득층 학생으로 확대해 1,800여 명의 학생이 추가지원을 받게했다.
저소득층 자녀에게만 한정 지원되었던 현장체험학습비는 다자녀가구의 셋째이후자녀까지 지원범위를 넓혀 11,280여 명의 학생이 추가로 혜택을 받게 된다.
또, 현장체험학습비는 초등학생 15만원, 중학생 20만원, 고등학생 30만원 이내의 수학여행비를 인상해 실비로 지원한다. 코로나 상황을 감안해 학교에서 실시하는 소규모 현장체험학습 및 체험활동도 1인당 10만원까지 지원한다.
