[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 창원시는 26일부터 경남테크노파크 메이커 스페이스 S-cube, 마산대학교 메이커스페이스 M.L.B, 창원대학교 메이커아지트 팹랩창원센터와 함께 상상만발 영메이커 프로그램을 진행한다고 28일 밝혔다.
상상만발 영메이커는 창업가 정신을 함양하고 전문메이커 과정을 교육하여 미래의 창업가를 육성하는 프로그램으로 창원지역 메이커 스페이스 3기관 (경남테크노파크 메이커 스페이스 S-cube, 마산대학교 메이커스페이스 M.L.B, 창원대학교 메이커아지트 팹랩창원센터)에서 각각 3월~8월, 마지막 주 토요일에 운영된다.
창원시 진로교육지원센터 홈페이지를 통해 신청, 접수 후 3월 26일부터 각 기관별 커리큘럼에 따라 교육이 진행된다. 학생들 개별 포트폴리오 제작은 물론 완성된 작품들을 토대로 결과 발표회와 수료식을 진행 할 예정이며 우수결과물은 창업경진대회 출품할 계획이다.
창원시진로교육지원센터는 창원지역 메이커 스페이스 3기관과 지역 청소년 직업체험 및 진로교육 활성화를 위한 업무협약을 체결하고 창업, 진로 분야 콘텐츠를 공동 개발, 운영하며 시스템을 구축해나가는 등 상호 긴밀한 협력을 바탕으로 창원의 진로교육을 지속적으로 지원할 계획이다.
허성무 창원시장은 “창원지역의 메이커 스페이스 기관들과 센터가 협력하여 미래의 창업가들을 지원하게 되어 매우 기쁘게 생각한다. 상상만발 영메이커 프로그램을 통해 창의적 사고로 미래를 이끌어가는 인재를 양성하여 청소년들의 진로설계에 도움이 될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.
